In accordance with Section IV of the AMU Charter, the Kingdom of Brienia has been granted AMU Membership and admitted as the ninth member of the Antarctic Micronational Union, after more than 2/3 of the active states and a passing majority of the active signatories voted in favor of accepting the application.
The Kingdom of Brienia lies a claim over Drygalski Island and is the second micronation to join the AMU after the organization resumed activity in February 2020. It will be represented in the AMU by King Ivan Brienović.
